What is it?
- Apple News is an iOS app news aggregator developed by Apple. Users can read articles created by publishers about variety of topics
- It it exists an app that is available on all iOS devices.
- There are two offerings: Apple News and Apple News +
- The standard Apple News channels allow publishers to publish articles to a channel of ‘Latest Stories’ that show chronologically on a timeline. It's free but the channel needs to be approved by Apple.
- Apple News + allows publishers to curate content into editions. There is a cost to it and also need to be an approved Apple News + publisher. Read more details on the benefits.
