Where to Edit Featured Blocks Accessing a Topic Steps to Access and Edit Topics Editing and Managing Custom Modules

Featured blocks are custom modules that appear on your Pugpig Archive pages. Each block is made up of a set of pages arranged in a bespoke layout.

If you want to change the layout of the page itself or modify how the blocks are structured or displayed, this will require custom development work. Please reach out to Pugpig Support or your Customer Success Manager to discuss options, feasibility, and timelines.

You can, however, edit and update the articles featured within these blocks directly in the Bondi Editor, the CMS used for Pugpig Archive sites.

              Where to Edit Featured Blocks

The custom modules that form featured blocks are stored inside Topics within the Bondi Editor.

              Accessing a Topic

Once inside a Topic, you’ll land on the Topic Contents page. This is where you can view all custom modules within that Topic and edit the articles in individual modules.

Steps to Access and Edit Topics

              1. Sign in to Bondi Editor (https://bondieditor.com), and open the Publication you’d like to edit.

              2. Once you’re in a publication, simply click on Topics on the top navigation bar.
              1. You will be redirected to the All Topics page. If you’re looking for a specific topic you need to edit, you can also use the search bar to filter the list of topics shown below. To edit a topic, simply click on your chosen topic’s name.

              Editing and Managing Custom Modules

              1. Once you’re in a Topic, you’ll be greeted by the Topic Contents page. Here you can view, rearrange, and edit custom modules within your topic.
              1. In the left hand side, you’ll find your topic details (eg. Name, slug, and description.) You can also drop an image file in the custom image box. Once you’re done, simply click on the blue Save Details button.
              1. On the right hand side, you’ll find a collection of your custom modules. Take note of the Name and Topic Module ID.

              4. When you scroll down to the bottom, you will see a list of all the articles you can add in your modules. You can use the search bar at the center to filter the list of articles shown.

Note: The articles listed here needs to be added to this topic first. We can do that via the [Article Entry] page.

To add an article in your custom module. Simply click the dropdown arrow on the right side of your chosen article. Then, select the name of your chosen custom module.

              5. After you finish adding your articles. Your custom module will look like the example below.

Each article you added will show up on a list with a yellow-green background. If you want to remove an article on this list, simply click on the Remove button on the right side.

To re-order your articles, you can click and drag the arrows symbol on the left side of each article.

              6. Once you’re done. Click the blue Save button on top of the articles to complete your custom module.
