When to use the JSON Importer
The JSON import makes sense to use when you want to import digital content into the Pugpig CMS. As JSON does not have a standard article or edition format, we will need to work with you to map the fields in your JSON format to the fields in our CMS. If you already have a full JSON API, it is the choice for you. If not, you might want to consider using RSS instead.
How to monitor progress
A Wordpress plugin called Pugpig - JSON Importer is activated on your CMS.
In the CMS under Tools > Pugpig Json Import Tools you can see the files that are still to be imported

While the JSON Importer can be used to power custom JSON imports for clients, the technology also underpins some of the other standard importers. These include:
