When to use the JSON Importer

The JSON import makes sense to use when you want to import digital content into the Pugpig CMS. As JSON does not have a standard article or edition format, we will need to work with you to map the fields in your JSON format to the fields in our CMS. If you already have a full JSON API, it is the choice for you. If not, you might want to consider using RSS instead.

How to monitor progress

A Wordpress plugin called Pugpig - JSON Importer is activated on your CMS.

In the CMS under Tools > Pugpig Json Import Tools you can see the files that are still to be imported
