Many Pugpig apps will include Live Blog content. These are used to give near real-time updates of rapidly changing events - often used for big breaking stories or sporting events. In this cases, you want updates to get to users quickly, without them having to refresh the page they're on. The standard Pugpig Content Workflow is not appropriate for this kind of content.

• the apps will need to hit a public content endpoint directly at quite a high frequency (normally every 15 seconds or so)
• you are responsible for ensuring your content endpoint is responsive and has the latest content

• what technology you are using for your live blog. We have integrated with some third parties (e.g. ScribbleLive) in the past
• is the live blog currently on the website
• can you supply meta data in your content feed that lets us know which articles currently have live blogs. This is to incorporate a LIVE flash on the timeline
